1. Be on time. Breakfast starts at 7:10. You need to be in our class at 7:30 or you'll be marked tardy.
2. DRESS FOR SUCCESS. Be in correct uniform, including wearing a belt. It may be a good idea to have an extra belt in your locker in case you forget your belt. If you forget your belt, you will need to call home and someone will need to bring you one.
5TH GRADE UNIFORM POLICY--Navy blue and burgundy tops and black, khaki, and navy blue bottoms. No sweatpants or hoodies. No open toe shoes or sandles.
6TH GRADE UNIFORM POLICY-Hunter Green and light blue tops and black, khaki, and navy blue bottoms. No sweatpants or hoodies. No open toe shoes or sandles.
The detailed policy can be found at www.kannapolis.k12.nc.us
3. Be at level zero (no talking) in the hallways and bathrooms during school. This is a school-wide rule.
4. Dismissal--You will walk down the hall at level zero to the buses or to the front of the school for car rider pickup. If you ride a bus, you are to go directly to your bus. Dismissal is at 2:00pm each day. No check-outs after 1:30pm.
1. Show respect to yourself, others, and our school.
2. Make wise choices.
3. Turn in homework on time. If you do not understand something, your teachers are more than willing to help you but you need to try your best!
4. Be prepared for class!!! Bring in assignments on time, have school supplies and lunch money ready each day, come in and get started in the morning on your assignments. You cannot return to your locker after Tiger Time has started.
6. Have fun in a respectful way. Learning can and should be fun, especially in 5th and 6th Grade! :)

· If you can’t solve the problem or choose not to, I will do something
· What I do will depend on each person and the unique situation
· If you feel that something is unfair, whisper to me, “I am not sure that is fair” and we will talk.
